The Belvedere is a majestic palace complex of international importance. But it wouldn't be enough to say that it is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, an exhibition hall for a valuable collection of paintings, or a historic park. The Belvedere is the embodiment of Baroque taste.During this art tour we will take into account the architecture, the art collection and the park, because each of these components is indispensable if you want to experience and understand the art of living when you can afford everything.Most of the historic buildings are now used for art exhibitions and we will take a closer look at them. The address of the Belvedere Palace (also known as the Upper Belvedere) is Prinz Eugen-Straße 27, 1030 Vienna. Here is a link to Google Maps and to Apple Maps.Please come punctually to the meeting point at the main entrance of the Belvedere Palace (also called the Upper Belvedere where the Museum is located). Your guide will be waiting for you on the right side of the main entrance of the Belvedere Palace (it is at your right if you look at it from the front, it is at your left, if you turn your back to it). If you see a breathtaking view of Vienna, you found the meeting point. If you see the palace but not the city view, then please move to the entrance on the opposite side of the building. Just follow the "Museum entrance" sign.
